Fiber Cement Board in Good Quality.

Many manufacturing of FCB just running to making the Fiber Cement Board Products as following , duplicated  or following to the person which have been experienced to the previous manufacture or factory so both the processed  and formulation as same as base on the previous factory.

    - Flow pipe process as outlet and Inlet from Premixer / Level box / stuff box to the Vat .
    - Brest Roll , vaccum and cleaning process.
     Etc
2. Operational.
       Needed the Person which very experiances and as guidance to find the good and the right
       machine as Requirment basic base on the productivity and good results also the capacity of
       machine.
      - Right place in the total flow process of production and  also both mass and water balance.
      - Right in reading the equipment specification base on the equipment capacity.
      - Right to make the lay out related to the machine and processing.
       Etc.
        All about will be supported and important think to make easier operational of FCB.
3. Raw material and additives
    Choising and composition of material will be important to impact the quality of products.
    How to prepare the material before used to the process and also the additives too.

     

FOAM CONTROL IN THE FIBER CEMENT MACHINE

FOAM
Foam is one of type of colloidal system a gas dispersed in a liquid. The gas is nearly always air or carbon dioxide and the liquid is ussually water.
Foam can be observed in the bulk of the liquid or the surface as gas pocket or bubbles that are separated by thin liguid films.

FOR A LIQUID TO SUPPORT STABLE FOAM THERE ARE THREE COMPONENT MUST BE PRESENT :
1. A source of air or another gas
2. A source of mixing energy to disperse the gas in the liquid
3. Some foam stabilizing material at the gas or liquid interface.

THERE ARE THREE COMMON AND TROUBLESOME TYPES OF FOAM IN FC or FCB SYSTEM
1. Surface foam
2. Entrained air
3. Static foam

HOW TO CONTROL THE FOAM
1. Mechanical control
2. Chemical or additive control with foam control agents.

MAK Products Series i.e as Foam control agent was very effective to using in the process making of Fiber Cement.
MAK Series is a blend mineral and organic compound copolymer is very effective an antifoam or defoamer.
The presence of foam in the process can have several detrimental consequences on daily operations.
In the fiber cement process were feeding to back water return as Defoamer and to distributor chest or level box before to the vats cylender as Antifoam.

Application of Gofoam Series.

Within 50 -150 ppm max will  cover and protected the foam problem in the process
Many of Fiber Cement and Fiber Cement Board manufacture in Indonesia have using a MAK Defoamer or Antifoam..  .

One of the important think to Making Fiber cement Board , Chemicals/ Additives is i.e

Polyelectrolite

the Function as ;

Coagulation - Coagulation is the reduction of the repellant forces between particles such that they no longer repel one another.

Flocculation - Flocculation is combining or forming a “bridge” between the neutralized particles to produce discrete agglomerates.

Filtration - Filtration is the trapping of the agglomerated particles in the forming sheet.

Why needed Polyelectrolite ???

Many an anionic and cationic material in the system of material processing to making Fiber Cement Board. The sources will come from

- Fibres and Fines

- Residual Unbleaching Pulp ; Dissolved lignin, pitch and hemicellulose

- Additives; Contaminants cycle up in the process making the pulp especially with increased 

                   the closed loop process.

- Filler / Binder : Powder silica, Cement or others

Material of Polyelectrolite - FLOREN 1669, or FLOREN series
